If you’re familiar with Austin culture, you know that local talent is highly respected and revered in these parts. All of us at EMCF have always been advocates for supporting local artists, and we’re extremely excited to host an impressive showcase of over 40 brilliant “local acts” in this year’s festival. We refer to them as “local” due to their original geographic location, but many of our home grown natives have expanded their horizons over the years. Furthermore, many of the artists on our roster have had critically acclaimed support by the top names in the industry, and have received national attention by the likes of EDM.com and Billboard Magazine. We wanted to show our love for our home town heroes, and though it was difficult to choose just a handful of artists to spotlight from our massive lineup, we bring you a special Road to Euphoria Feature Music Editorial.
Electro Enforcers w/ Special Guest DJ K9
4.26 (Saturday) | Afterhours Lounge
WARNING: If you have not seen these guys B2B at their stomping grounds in Krypto, Houston, hold on - because it’s going to be a wild ride. Individually known as Bart Black, Matty P, and El Nino, the members of Electro Enforcers are accomplished in their solo careers; with wide variations from all ends of the musical spectrum. From hard dance to Electro and beyond, Electro Enforcers bring a mean sound that is sure to get your feet thumping. Additionally, it was just announced that the number one Hardstyle DJ in Texas, DJ K9, will be making a special guest appearance during the Electro Enforcers set at Euphoria’s After Lounge area located in the camp grounds. This will be the first time that HARDER styles of music will be represented at Euphoria Fest, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
Noah Neiman
4.26 (Saturday) | Euphoria Stage
Hailed by EDM.com as one of the “Top 5 Producers Who Will Turn Dance Fans Into Trance Fans,” we are very lucky to have Noah Neiman gracing the Euphoria Stage this year. Also a close personal friend of the festival, he is just as passionate to throw down an amazing musical program as we are! His new track, “A Thousand Miles ft. Cadence Ludden” (released via Black Hole Records) really exhibits his phenomenal production chops as well as his classical genius through his ability to master the piano, violin, and trombone. Some of the big time artists who have showed support for Noah include Armin Van Buuren and Ferry Corsten. We definitely recommend anyone in the #trancefamily and Euphoria family to check out his uplifting set.
Riot Ten Vs. Ariok
4.26 (Saturday) | Dragonfly Amphitheater
Riot Ten: This Ohio native has been dominating the Trap scene lately with multiple releases on Beatport. His latest edit of A$AP FERG’s “Murda Something” has been receiving mad backing from the Trap nation, as well as A$AP FERG himself. (A$AP dropped his remix at Coachella recently!) As a special treat, Riot Ten will be performing a vs. set with fellow DJ, Ariok. There’s no question that this will be one of our most popular sets this year.
Ariok: #Screwstep would be the best way to describe this filthy bass-influenced producer. His ferocious edits and tracks released on Primal Filth Records have gotten him support from huge industry heads including Figure and Flying Lotus. Ariok’s Euphoria set is sure to be rich with dirty bass lines and fresh filth from his highly anticipated new EP, which was just released yesterday! We can’t wait for this intense vs. battle with Riot Ten.
Elle Morgan
4.26 (Saturday) | Euphoria Stage
We truly can’t believe how talented 13 year old DJ, Elle Morgan, really is. She’s been getting an enormous amount of national exposure, including being one of the “10 Young EDM Stars To Watch” along with Martin Garrix, Disclosure, and more. Back in her home town, The Woodlands (Houston), she runs her own teen club and has headlined over 1,000 events all across the United States. Recently, she just released her very first track, Starkidz. She will be rocking out at the Euphoria Stage on Saturday afternoon, so be sure to catch this young starlet in Texas while you still can!
Gamma Vs. Teddy Chang Vs. Moneta
4.25 (Friday) | Dragonfly Amphitheater
Usually opening up for some of the biggest names in EDM, these three talented DJs are infamous for spinning insane tag-team sets on the regular. For their Euphoria set, they have been set loose with no limits or restrictions. No genre is safe, and no feet are safe from the impending dance-a-thon that is sure to ensue. Be sure to catch Gamma Vs. Teddy Chang Vs. Moneta this year at the Dragonfly Amphitheater, because their broad musical palette will send you on a merciless musical rampage.
Praia Urbana: Alex Clavijo & Bobby Blyss
4.26 (Saturday) | Silent Disco
Praia Urbana, which means “urban beach” in Portuguese, is an outdoor electronic music festival that began in the heart of downtown Houston, Texas. Picture yourself at the beach, surrounded by vague outlines of the city, grooving to smooth Techno, Tech House, Latin House, and Deep House. This is what Praia Urbana is all about. Not only have these DJs been bringing that sexy sound to Houston and Austin for years, but they have recently tackled the global front by performing at Bora Bora in Ibiza, Spain. We are absolutely honored to have two of their most popular DJs showcasing their culture, music, and style with our Euphoria family.
Shwann & Andrew Parsons
4.26 (Saturday) | Dragonfly Amphitheater & Euphoria Stage
Shwann: Originating from San Antonio, Texas, Shwann is an artist that has just recently burst into the music scene. Nonetheless, he has been gaining massive support from some of the world’s biggest DJs including George Acosta, Paul Oakenfold, Jacob Van Hage and Marco V to name a few. With his early success in the industry already an accomplishment under his belt, Shwann is sure to be a major player in the music game very soon. He is definitely a festival favorite, close friend of Euphoria and a set truly not to be missed.
Andrew Parsons: Austin, Texas resident and DJ/Producer/Label Owner Andrew Parsons has been praised for his flawless mixing and highly select blend of Progressive House, Melbourne Bounce, Swedish House, Electro & everything in between.
