We started the Euphoria Unearth Contests in order to discover talented individuals in the realm of DJing and Producing. Not only did we succeed in our mission, but we encompassed a combined reach of over 15,000 people from all over the world! There were around 150 entries per contest, and over 1,200 track shares on various social media networks. Though the top contenders were narrowed down by voting, our panel specially selected a few of their favorite mixes/tracks from outside the top ten entries as this year’s wild cards.
We would like to thank our diverse panel of guest judges from Spotlight.fm, AudiophileLive Records, Euphoria Music Festival, and our local headliners for lending their refined musical palettes in judging the contests. We also want to give a huge shout out to all of the applicants, voters/listeners, and Euphoria fans for bringing so much love to this competition.
After much difficult deliberation, we have selected the following winners: (1) Biance Linta (2) Ricardo Limones and (3) Matsu for our Unearth DJ Contest (with Cloud 9, Dash, AP& DEX!, and Jay Havoc as our Honorable Mentions) and for our Unearth Producer Contest we have chosen: (1) Sonic Geometry (2) Vice Club and (3) Kinetic Groove (with Honorable Mentions for Andrew Amussio, Warp9, Hashback Hashish, Most Jeffinitely, Bot, and Casmalia).
