FINDING EUPHORIA LINEUP
Finding Euphoria is an intimate electronic music festival on May 12 in Downtown Austin. We're excited to present a curated, one-day festival lineup at three venues, as well as a Pre-Party on May 11.
Two brothers making music together for more than 10 years. Hippie Sabotage brings a perfect blend of energetic hip-hop and moody electronic beats to our scene, but more importantly, they bring family and feeling. Hippie Sabotage moves a crowd, commanding connection with the music. The Saurer brothers have arrived.
It’s feel good time. k?d has an astounding way of keeping even his heaviest tracks upbeat. They’re fast, dynamic and bursting with unique instrumentation. Awaiting an electric experience this spring, we welcome k?d to the 2018 Euphoria family.
Medasin’s sound is unmistakably his own, and his place in the Euphoria family is unmistakably cherished. In 2016, Medasin contributed an original Road to Euphoria mix leading up to the festival, and he’s made us dance with his fresh sound at Carson Creek each year since. His remixes make us dance, his original tracks are bright and fun, and his live sets get heavy. Welcome back Medasin for his third year.
Vocal melodies that stick in your head, beats for driving with the windows down, and drops to move a crowd. We wanted someone to bring the smiles on a sunny day at the ranch, and BLU J will do just that. Here’s your soundtrack for skipping across Carson Creek this May.
Boogie T brought his New Orleans dubstep to Empire in February, and we couldn’t let him leave Austin for good. The combination of dub and groove perfectly encapsulates what we want for Finding Euphoria - a party with weight. He has serious sound without forgoing the fun.
He began as an engineer for Kanye West in Hawaii, and ended up playing his first festival at Lollapalooza with Flosstradamus. Now, graves is headed to Finding Euphoria as a respected bass producer with music of his own. We’re excited to welcome graves’ hip-hop influenced creativity to the festival.
The first single BlackGummy dropped on deadmau5’s label was called “Deep Bounce,” and we think the name says it all. BlackGummy’s deep house tracks are dynamic, quick and rhythmic in a way that perfectly fits the word bounce. Let BlackGummy pull you into his infectious trance this May. Finding Euphoria has the dark house beats locked down.
The silver-masked duo is keeping Finding Euphoria quirky and loud. ATLiens’ bass has a unique futuristic vibe that stands out in a sea of trap. Their 2018 release Invasion features dark, distorted vocals and unexpected turns, creating an energy that will keep Euphoria moving into the night.
SQUNTO took the stage alongside Boogie T this February at Empire, and the result could be described with no other word than heavy. Grating synth and pounding bass made SQUNTO an unforgettable act, but his speaking out against harmful drug culture and living in harmony with the earth makes him special to Euphoria.
Cray is known for her connection to fans through her Twitch streams, stemming from a love for gaming. She channels the same desire for direct fan connection into her music and shows, drawing crowds into airy, danceable party tracks.
Asadi had the Dragonfly Stage enraptured at Euphoria 2017. From sitting down with his soundpad and dropping beats on Kanye, to filling the riverside space with his original Persian trap tracks, Asadi threw himself into the show. That’s the energy we want back at Finding Euphoria this May.
Crowd surfing on a blow-up piece of pizza has become a Euphoria staple. The past two years, Slice Gang brought the pizza and the party to Carson Creek. This gang gets a hungry Euphoria family hyped up and happy, jumping and chanting to fresh drops at every show. Let’s bring ‘em back. Welcome Crizzly, Cursor, Gamma, Deuces, Klo, Jigga, V!nny and Grin.
Talk about a loyal family member. Brede has been with us since 2014, Euphoria’s first year at Carson Creek. In addition to delivering unique, experimental bass beats to fans, Brede also contributes a passion for entrepreneurship to the Austin music scene. As founder of Gravitas Recordings collective, he brings artists and creators together. This kind of dedication to music is what makes the Euphoria family special.
This year we’re excited to experience something new and exciting with our longtime family member Dirty Mouth -- formerly the drums of Blunt Force. If you know Euphoria, you know that the Blunt Force beats light up the ranch with energy every year. Dirty Mouth is dedicated to his drums, loved by Euphoria fans, and the perfect example of growth and steps forward at Finding Euphoria.
The music lives up to the name. Madhatter puts on a show with bounce, variety and a little bit of crazy. Plus at Finding Euphoria, there’s double the trap. Madhatter plays b2b Dough Boy, who ups the bpm’s to a new level, reaching into hardstyle territory. The duo performs together often as part of Mad Family, so the creativity flows.
An M.E. Swank track is an exciting sort of chaos. Sounds dip in and out, scales race up and down, and energy stays high throughout. M.E. Swank takes the bass we love and makes something unexpected with every move. Finding Euphoria celebrates risk, energy and independence, so let’s dance about it to M.E. Swank this May.
ATWOOD hails from Houston, home of the music scene that he credits with giving his life direction. ATWOOD’s candor about his personal story and quest for positivity in the world make his emotionally charged tracks even more meaningful to fans. ATWOOD says music gives him life, and Finding Euphoria is here to spread that feeling.
Euphoria has been honored to have Psymbionic join us at the ranch twice in the past. His glitchy bass has a way of surrounding a crowd, weaving the most diverse lines of music. Psymbionic’s tracks are full and deep, layering bright horn sections on spiraling synths on sparkling scales. We’re thankful to have this level of talent coming back to Carson Creek.
Spirix feels like summer. Melodic, light and laced with heartfelt lyric lines. The kind of music that has us nodding our heads and smiling. Spirix is known for his danceable remixes, but his original singles catch on just as quick. A little electro-pop to brighten up the lineup and the day.
It wouldn’t be a complete Euphoria festival without a healthy dose of funk. With Megan Hamilton and The Bermudas dropping beats, we are prepared to jam. This collab has already resulted in chilled out tracks fit for summer grooving, so the live combination is sure to make us move.
This duo embraces everything its name suggests. Auxymorons brings levity to the room, refusing to take itself -- or life -- too seriously. They charge the crowd with laughing and dancing at every drop. Fusing heavy trap with lighthearted vibes, Auxymorons keeps us partying.
Another family member is headed back to the ranch with a new solo project. Resonant Frequency fans, get excited for Zero Hour. He’s got the groove and the experience getting Euphoria crowds dancing, including at our Block Party in April. Honored to support and experience the amazing new things our family is doing.
