Update on Finding Euphoria 2018

Late yesterday the Euphoria team made the difficult decision to change the venue of Finding Euphoria from our home at Carson Creek Ranch. We are rescheduling the artists from our lineup to venues in Downtown Austin including Mohawk, Barracuda, and Empire Control Room and Garage over the weekend of May 11-12, and in addition to these shows, ticket holders will receive free passes to our next event at Carson Creek Ranch.

We have been working tirelessly to secure the necessary permits to hold Finding Euphoria at Carson Creek Ranch this May, but unfortunately we have not yet obtained the provisional permit that Euphoria Fest has previously been granted every year at the Ranch. While we were initially confident that the permitting issues would be resolved, it is simply not feasible for us to wait any longer.

You have been with us through it all, and we are working to ensure this weekend is an amazing experience for the Euphoria family. Hippie Sabotage, k?d, Medasin, graves, Boogie T, ATLiens and 20+ more artists from the original lineup are confirmed to play, and a full schedule will be released shortly.

Your Finding Euphoria ticket gets you into every show on Saturday May 12, and ticket holders who purchased a Camping Pass also get access to the relocated Camping Pre-Party at Empire Garage on Friday May 11. Campers will receive their Friday ticket via email automatically. Non-campers can RSVP on a first-come, first-served basis to attend the Friday event for free. Refunds will be available for any ticket holder who cannot attend these shows, and the refund request form is available here: bit.ly/FERefundRequest.

Tickets are still on sale for Finding Euphoria, but are nearly sold out due to the capacity of these venues. Purchase your pass soon if you want to be a part of the multi-venue experience next weekend and receive a ticket to our next Carson Creek Ranch event. Those who originally purchased camping will receive an upgraded camping experience at our next event.

We are grateful to the county staff for their work with us on this event, and we are incredibly thankful to the Austin and Euphoria community for your support of our festival every year. Despite the unanticipated changes, we are excited to offer more events and continue to fulfill our vision for Finding Euphoria: creating year-round connections through community and music for the Euphoria family.

Why is this happening?

The next opportunity for Finding Euphoria to be granted the necessary permit is on May 8. It is not feasible to take the chance that we will not have the permit at that time - three days before the event.

What are the new events and venues?

The artists on the original lineup will be rebooked at venues in Downtown Austin on May 11-12. The venues include Mohawk, Barracuda, and Empire Control Room and Garage. All ticket holders will be able to access the shows on May 12, and ticket holders who also purchased Camping Passes will be able to access shows on May 11 as well, the rescheduled Camping Pre-Party. Details for our next event at Carson Creek Ranch will be available soon, and all Finding Euphoria ticket holders will be granted free admission to this event.

Will all artists from the lineup perform May 11-12?

We have worked to reschedule as many artists as possible from the original lineup, and are working to release a final schedule shortly.

I have my ticket - what do I do?

No action is necessary at this time. If you purchased a GA, VIP, or Finding Euphoria Series Pass, your ticket will allow you to enter all shows in Downtown Austin May 11-12. You will also receive a complimentary ticket to our next event at Carson Creek Ranch.

I don’t have a ticket - what do I do?

The capacity of the new venues is limited, so tickets are expected to sell out soon. If you purchase before they sell out, your ticket will be good for all shows on May 12 as well as a complimentary ticket to our next event at Carson Creek Ranch.

Are refunds available?

Yes, please fill out this form to request a refund on your purchase: bit.ly/FERefundRequest. Refunds will be available for one week, until 5pm on Thursday May 10, after which time your ticket will grant you access to the shows May 11-12.

Refunds on camping passes will be available until seven days after we announce our next music and camping event. If you do not request a refund, you will receive a comparable or better camping ticket to our next event.

Should I request a refund?

We are trying to create the best possible options for all situations. We think Finding Euphoria in Downtown Austin will be a great experience, with the original lineup in great venues, but camping will not be available. Hold on to your ticket if you would like to attend these shows and our next event, which will provide a camping option for those who originally purchased a camping pass. If you will not be able to attend these shows May 11-12 or would prefer not to wait for details on our next festival, please contact us.
